Polycompound AG – step by step into the future
Switzerland-based Polycompound AG takes an additional step into the future after completing the construction of the new production and warehouse building and modernising the machinery: Jan Schweizer will assume operational management from Thomas Manetsch at the beginning of 2024.
Polycompound AG started gradually putting their new production centre at Sissach into operation between winter 2022 and summer 2023. An additional production line, warehouse and office spaces were created at the existing location.
Even after the comprehensive modernisation of the infrastructure, the Switzerland-based toll compounder will not rest on its laurels: it will continue to modernise its production and will now tailor its organisation accordingly for the future as well.
As of 1 January 2024, Jan Schweizer will succeed Thomas Manetsch as CEO, who for his part will remain a co-owner and member of the board of directors of Polycompound AG. Thomas Manetsch had taken over Polycompound AG 15 years ago as part of successor planning by the founders, and carefully and very successfully managed operations in a challenging environment through the following years. Jan Schweizer has been part of the Polycompound AG team for eight years, most recently as head of business development. In the past years, he has proven his strategic thinking and his leadership qualities. “This personnel change in the company’s leadership is the next logical step in securing our long-term future here at the Sissach location,” says Thomas Manetsch.
